• Extended spectrum beta-lactam cephalosporins are also affected by extended spectrum beta lactamases (ESBL)
• Syceph SB is a unique combination of Ceftriaxone & Sulbactam
• Sulbactam (a beta-lactamase inhibitor) protects the beta lactam ring of Ceftriaxone
